A Bit About Me Professionally,

Hi! My name is Shari and I’ve been a professional freelance writer since 1999, specializing in business and technical documentation. I became a writer because if there's one constant in my professional life, it's been my complete ability to understand my own strength as a writer.

Most people probably wonder about my career path, but I love the fact that I had such a diversified and interesting professional career. I met a lot of great people, saw a lot of great places, did some really interesting and meaningful work and learned the ins and outs of many different industries.

I just have an entrepreneur's heart; I've wanted to be a writer since I was a kid. I love to write - actually, I love to write the type of writing you are now reading, that's my strength. 

So it was natural for me to strike out on my own as a professional writer. I write for anyone and everyone - small companies, individual people, and international corporations. My clients love me - they get great work with  confidentiality and integrity.

A Bit About Me Personally,

I live in West Kelowna, British Columbia and I have my dog Molly.  Molly hangs around my office with me, I think she likes the tapping of the keyboard keys.  Molly is a Karelian Bear Dog and she is awesome.

I work out of my home office, after I finish a full day at my full time job, so that means I work a lot.  As far as hobbies and interests, I'm a great cook, who enjoys being creative in the kitchen and avid gardener.  Autumn is my favorite season, also a big fan of the Boston Bruins and a huge Nascar Fan.      I have developed a taste for good wine and fine Bourbon which are my favorites.  Hey, I'm in my mid 40's - allow me a few adult vices, okay?  All things in moderation, I say.

I've become quite the homebody in my middle age here - I don't have a huge mansion, but I have a modest home with a nice yard.  I'd much rather hang out here any given night than go out somewhere.  The food, drinks, music and conversation are FAR better here, as one never know's what Shari is cooking.
